Rising Sun Technologies LLC has an opening for the position of Software Engineer
(Ref# SE57NC).
Work Location: Position may telecommute / work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, and major enhancements of existing systems for client projects.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with business analysts and architects.
- Conduct impact analysis and convert business/functional requirements into high-level design and detail-design documents.
- Lead the technical roadmap for aligned teams with an Agile mindset.
- Handle end-to-end development, including coding, testing, and debugging of Actimize and Java based applications.
- Responsible for development, solutions, custom models, upgrades, and implementation of Actimize projects and products for various financial services clients.
- Design and build APIs utilizing REST, SOAP, API Gateway, Spring Boot, etc.
- Involved in software configuration, upgrades, and integrations of microservices and applications.
- Interact with users and development teams to gather and define requirements.
- Identify and recommend appropriate continuous improvement opportunities.
- Analyze user stories for validity and feasibility. Work within the team on iterative development that delivers high-quality, stable services.
- Engineer effective, defect free configurations and code that meets business requirements and team standards.
- Engineer component and services design and contribute to technical alternatives.
- Influence the prioritization of enhancements to ensure applications are modernized and maintained to support growth, business development and to meet the long-term product vision.
- Leverage technical knowledge and experience to coach and collaborate with Agile software engineers.
- Implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) to automate the build and integrate with AWS cloud.
- Execute all levels of testing (system, integration, and regression) and provide functional/system integration testing support.
- Perform quality assurance coding and design review defects or discrepancies in requirements identified and resolved with appropriate partners and stakeholders.
- Engineer effective, defect free configuration products and code to meet the business requirements and team standards.
Qualifications
- Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Consultant or related experience.
- Position requires 2 years of experience with Actimize and Java.
- 40hrs/week.
Education
- This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
